I am the founding attorney at Rising Brand Legal. I'm an entrepreneur at heart, having built and sold a multi-7 figure business, practiced law for over 15 years, and created The Legal Shoppe, an online contract template shop for small businesses (go check it out!).

I focus my practice on protecting the brands that entrepreneurs work so hard to build. Marrying my entrepreneurial background with my legal expertise, I'm dedicated to helping small business owners understand and protect what makes their brand uniquely theirs.

My approach is tailored to demystify what feels scary and complicated about the legal side of brand protection, making it easy to understand. I want every client to walk away feeling secure, informed, and empowered.

When I'm not lawyering, I enjoy travel, outdoor adventures, and hanging out with my husband Matt, our two teen boys Noble and Cade, and our three active pups Nana, Luna, and Beau.

Ashley Craig is our Legal Assistant and Office Manager, and also the lawyer’s sister. We've worked together for over 12 years, which means we finish each other's sentences, and apparently look enough alike that clients regularly mistake us for twins. We find this equally flattering and hilarious.

We're also proud to work with the team at Virtually Brooks, our US-based virtual assistants who support every corner of our business and are true experts at their trade. They are organized, reliable, and genuinely invested not only on our business, but in our clients’ businesses too. We couldn't do it without them.
